In Response to COVID-19.

As human beings we live in a time of profound change as we are faced with the global pandemic of Covid 19.  This challenge touches us most deeply at the level of our mental and emotional health, as we face uncertainly about physical, financial, and social worlds of safety, security and belonging,

ATC aspires to provide you support that is both safe and effective.  While it is imperative to strictly follow social protocols (wearing masks and maintaining a 6 foot distance) during this public health emergency, new clients attend their first session in person.    An in-person interview allows you, full access to sense whether this therapeutic relationship is in resonance with your needs and wishes.  This proximity also grants me a more comprehensive diagnostic environment to better assess how to serve your well-being, and helps us establish a counselor/client alignment that can thereafter effectively function through remote location services.

Phone sessions and telehealth practices are offered to clients, to ensure they can receive services without coming into the office.  Telehealth service options include phone sessions, as well as Skype, Zoom or other internet forums that offer 2 way synchronous audio and/or visual platforms.

Intake forms and fee payment will be completed in person when services are rendered whenever possible.  Otherwise, fees for services will be made online through my website (AshlandTherapy.com), or delivered to my office by postal service or mail drop.  (When choosing the later option, leave payment in a sealed envelope marked with my name – either using the mail slot in the front door or placing envelope behind the file folder marked with my name located in gold basket on the wall to the right just inside the front door).
